Why You Should Drink From Aluminum Instead Of Plastic
As I continuously grow more and more attached to the environmental issues around the world the more I prefer to use anything but plastic. While this is easier said than done in most cases one relatively easy way to accomplish this is by drinking from aluminum cans. While still not as great as using a refillable container, it is far easier to recycle when compared to plastic. With that in mind I want to talk to all of you about why you should be drinking from aluminum instead of plastic.
Recycling
Now I know this is coming off very much so like a moment to be a tree hugger, which it very much so is, however, I also want to talk about money as well. While you’re very likely not* going to get rich off of recycling aluminum cans unless you either have a soda or alcohol addiction (which I hope you don’t). At the very least you’re able to recover some of the money you lost from the initial purchase of the consumable. Of course, many areas also pay for the recycling of plastic but it’s far more common, at least in the United States to find a facility that will actively pay you for your aluminum cans. So next time you down your favorite can of soda or beer, try to make it out of a aluminum can so that you can cash in on your well deserved beverage investment!
