Why Steam On ChromeOS Is So Important

Back in March of this year Google announced that Steam would be entering an alpha test on ChromeOS. While this alpha is still incredibly limited considering that it requires an unstable version of ChromeOS to be in use but it also requires certain hardware, I think that Steam on ChromeOS may be the tipping point for ChromeOS to enter the mainstream market.
