Why Solar Cars Make Sense

There has always been the crowd that either loves the idea of a solar powered car or the crowd that laughs at them, I’m here to ultimately join the side that loves the idea of a solar powered car. Now I personally love my internal combustion engine cars but as I strive for further and further efficiency within my life I can’t help but think that solar powered cars are one of the most important pieces of technology to transform the transportation industry. So before I babble on far too long, let me explain why I believe that solar powered cars make perfect sense in 2022.

Reduce The Strain On Charging Networks

While the need for a charging network will very likely always remain, there will be an increasing need to reduce the overall reliance on these charging stations. While many people will certainly be charging their vehicles at home, there will need to be additional alternatives to this as well. Looking at the possibilities for alternatives to relying on a charger network one could simply start making both more efficient vehicles that use less energy or start increasing the size of batteries in general. While both of those will likely continue to play a role in the future of electric cars. Why not develop a system where the user can instead harvest energy from the sun!
