Why I’m Officially Stuck In The Google Ecosystem
My relationship with Google generally speaking kind of started out in a weird way. I was probably introduced to Google the same way many of you were, by using their search engine. Then YouTube. Then Google Drive. Then Android. Then Maps, Photos, Keep, Music, the Play Store and so on and so forth. If one thing Google knew how to capitalize, it’s momentum. So even though I clearly showed you part of why I’m officially stuck in the Google Ecosystem, I wanted to go over a few, more defined reasons. So without further ado, let’s check it out!
Mobility
I’ve written about the importance of mobility on other articles before. Long story short, I love a platform that can go where ever I need to go with little to no hassle and without tying me down to specific hardware. Google does exactly that, not only can I buy a near infinite sea of Android devices but generally speaking, if I can use a modern web browser on a device, I can turn that device into a Google Workspace with little to no effort! Other than some very specific Android/Pixel features such as the Assistant or perhaps the transcribing features, I can do the majority of my Google oriented task from within a web browser meaning I can work on my content creation, academic projects and even some of my professional task without my dedicated hardware, all thanks to Google’s cloud…
