Google I/O has more or less run it’s course over the last couple of days and while I already planned on buying the Pixel 6a due to my Pixel 3a getting it’s final sunset update in July, I thought it would be a good time to write about my feelings after the reveal! So let me share with you exactly why I’m buying the Pixel 6a!

The Price Point

I’ll admit, the price point that was offered in the Pixel 4a is still very much so the ideal area. That being said with the Pixel 6a coming in at $449, amount $150 cheaper than it’s bigger brother the Pixel 6, I’d say the Pixel 6a offers a lot of value. Now that I ruined the entire flow of my article, just know that I don’t buy smartphones very often, so when I do I really chase value above all else and I strongly believe that the Pixel 6a will deliver in that area.

Tensor

I haven’t had a robust time using Google’s Tensor chip considering I’ve ever really played with an on-display Pixel 6 at my local Best Buy, but I can see that Tensor is very much so geared towards what Google does best, seamless…
