Why I Love Google

I’ve been a Google fanboy all the way back when I first got my hands on an Android device running Froyo, that’s right, Android 2.2 was where I first started on my Google journey. Jeeze, that’s one way to make me feel archaic. Long story short, I’ve continued to fall in love with Google products even if some of the organizational decisions rub me the wrong way I still think Google’s overall philosophy matches with my personality quite a bit, so here’s why exactly I love Google products!

Form

Form. Function. Fun. Those are generally the three words I use to describe Google products the majority of the time (As for organizational decisions that F belongs to FRUSTRATING but I digress). Google has always made generally beautiful looking application based experiences. Whether we’re looking at the Google search engine, YouTube, Chrome, Google Drive or of course Android they all share similar design languages hat blend together beautifully in a perfectly unique Google form. From the touch target of the applications to the now deprecated hamburger menu, Google knows how to make beautiful services that all flow so well.

Function

On top of Google’s ability to make incredibly beautiful and easy to use applications and services Google also knows how to make very functional ones as well. From developing two of the most popular search engines…
