Why Formula 1 Is The Best Sport To Watch

I used to watch sports a lot more back when I was in college and ironically had a lot more free time on my hands. Now as I find myself working full time, dating the love of my life, pursuing a doctoral degree and trying to squeeze in some anime and video games into my life, I have to be very selective with what I watch simply based on time. That being said, I chose to spend my time watching Formula 1! Here’s why!

Easy To Follow

There are generally only 20 drivers to watch during race weekend and 10 teams (constructors). If that isn’t the bare minimum for sports I don’t know what is! Looking at all these other sports you generally have dozens of teams and hundreds of players moving throughout the season. I would be willing to bet most people could memorize all of F1’s major players within half a season. Try saying that about the NFL… I’m not saying you need to know every team and every player within a given league just to enjoy yourself but it does make understanding the entirety of the sport a whole lot easier. Now I will add that often times general managers, back up drivers and of course pit teams play a crucial role in F1, but let’s all be really honest with ourselves, if you’re not in the driver seat, you’re clearly taking a back seat.

The elements compose a magnum opus. My modus operandi is amalgam.
