Why EVs And Delivery Services Make Sense

It’s clear that EVs are the future. Whether we’re talking about full sized pickup trucks like the Ford F-150 Lightning or something a bit more soccer mom friendly like the Mustang Mach-E (Which is a weird statement to make considering it has the word “Mustang” in it). EV’s are here to stay. That being said, a lot of people are really digging into the professional use of these vehicles. From car rentals to fleet oriented applications, industries are looking at how EV’s can fit into their business model, and one of the most important business models in 2022 is certainly delivery services. So before I ramble on too long about the future of EV’s let’s talk about why EVs and delivery services like UPS, Fedex and even USPS make perfect sense!

Stop-n-Go

If you’re not super familiar with EV powertrains than you might not know that one of the ways that EVs or even hybrid electric vehicles can obtain superior city efficiency (MPGe or MPG) is because under certain conditions, braking can actually recharge your battery! We won’t get into the nuances of this technology since it’s not all that new, but I will point out just how important this can be for a delivery van going through a neighborhood.
