Why EV Fleet Sales Are So Important

Electric car sales have been steadily increasing each and every year and it seems that 2022 may actually be one of the most important years for EV adoption as well. With Tesla, Ford and several other companies pushing out thousands of EVs to consumers, it only makes sense that more and more people are buying them. Paired with the improvements to the charging infrastructure and of course the need for heightened climate action we’re all heading towards an era of fossil fuel free transportation! That being said, I wanted to talk about why vehicle fleets are going to be far more important to the adoption of electric vehicles versus consumer purchases, so let’s see why!

Reliability

Reliability has to be one of the most important aspects to any type of vehicle, whether we’re talking gas or electric, sport or commuter. No one, and a I truly mean no one, wants a car that either requires a lot of consistent maintenance or a car that just breaks down out of no where. Enter, EV fleets. By getting electric vehicles into the hands of big distributors such as Wal-Mart, Fedex, USPS and so on, both the car manufacturers and the consumers will be able to offload a lot of the reliability testing that will be needed to ensure an easy adoption of EVs well into the future.
