What The New PlayStation Plus Needs To Be Successful
With the huge revamp for PlayStation Plus right around the corner I wanted to set aside some time to talk about what they truly need to be successful in this world where video game streaming is not only an alternative way to play video games but a highly sought after feature in gaming services. So let’s dig into what Sony really needs to develop over the next year in order to ensure this PlayStation Plus revamp is a success story.
Mobile First
One of the biggest selling points about video game streaming is the fact that don’t need to be using the latest and greatest hardware in order to play the latest and greatest software. That includes smartphones and ultra portable laptops. While Sony already has a Windows client for their PlayStation Now service, nothing has been revealed about an Android or iOS alternative to gaming on the go. Whether or not these will happen remain a mystery but I hope over the coming months Sony will continue to develop ways to access and ultimately use their video game streaming services. While a Windows client is certainly a start, I can’t help but crave more in terms of gaming possibilities!
