Extreme E officially has it’s first season behind them, looking ahead towards season 2 there are a lot of interesting and exciting things going on that make this a championship series to watch whenever you get the chance. So without further ado, here are three of the many reasons why you should be watching Extreme E!
Big Names
Whether we’re talking about Formula 1 prodigy Lewis Hamilton or WRC veteran Carlos Sainz, there are huge names within the sport already. Right out of the gates Extreme E not only established several different racing teams but they were also able to bring in a lot of industry knowledge from all over the playing field. From WRC, Formula 1, Dakar, Formula E and so much more, Extreme E is brimming with all sorts of diversity and that’s what makes the competition so interesting!
Diversity
I touched on diversity for just a moment but I failed to mention the fact that each team is actually a duo. The sport itself consisting of two lap races with each driver getting 1 lap each. What’s even more interesting is the fact that per regulations, the drivers need to consist of exactly one male and one female per racing pair.
