Top 3 Highlights You Gotta Know From The 2024 Formula 1 Chinese Grand Prix
It has been over 3 years since we had the opportunity to see the Formula 1 paddock show up in full force in Shanghai for the Chinese Grand Prix and boy was it worth the wait! So let’s talk about my top 3 highlights from the 2024 Formula 1 Chinese Grand Prix.
Aston Martin Spectrum
From lap 1 we saw an incredible drive from Fernando Alonso. It was so incredible that it looked for a split second that he was about to challenge the nearly unstoppable Red Bull car for the top position out of the gates. Unfortunately we saw some blunders occur with Fernando Alonso using and abusing his tires just a little more than they could handle. This eventually saw him give positions back to the likes of Red Bull McLaren and Ferrari but considering the Aston Martin has been lacking this season this was quite the sight to see! Meanwhile on the other side of the garage we saw Lance Stroll hit drivers, force DNF’s and somehow get the last championship point awarding position with P10. It is quite clear to see who is the favorite Aston Martin driver here; and at a ripe old age of 42 nonetheless!
