Top 3 Highlights From The 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix
While this is far from the race that I was anticipating the most, I couldn’t help but be excited to see the first race in Las Vegas that wasn’t just done in the some parking lot. That being said, I was pleasantly surprised by the outcome of the inaugural Las Vegas GP in Formula 1. Well the first that counted anyways! Without spoiling the bulk of this article let’s dive into my top 3 highlights from the 2023 Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix!
Way Better Than We Expected
No seriously, I didn’t expect a whole lot of interesting or compelling racing action from this circuit. I thought there would be a lot of overtaking in the straights because a little something called DRS but there was so much track action up and down the track! Not to mention the battles up front (Which we’ll get to momentarily). Moral of the story is that I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of action that took place at this circuit with its very first rendition. We still have traditional circuits making adjustments just to get the amount of action that Las Vegas delivered on its first round. Ultimately, kudos to the track designers on this one cuz it was fun!
