Top 3 Highlights From The 2023 Formula 1 British Grand Prix
Silverstone and Formula 1 are surely a match made in heaven. While I’ll make the claim that Silverstone is not my personal favorite Formula 1 circuit I will say that it is potentially the best Formula 1 circuit. With tons of high speed corners ready for some very exciting overtaking opportunities and low speed corners that still add a level of technicality, Silverstone has it all! Now, let’s go over my top 3 highlights from the 2023 Formula 1 Brtish Grand Prix!
McLaren’s New Rocket Ship
No seriously, when did Lando Norris become an astronaut? That new McLaren with all sorts of upgrades up and down the car is now a fully-fledged race win contender. The most impressive moment of their upgraded cars besides their qualifying pace putting the Mercedes, Ferrari’s and Aston Marton’s to shame was the fact that Lando Norris while on hard tires was able to out drag race Lewis Hamilton who had some fresh softs. I thought for sure that Lewis would be able to overtake the McLaren but with Lando’s ability and a good car finally underneathe him, it seems that the race the gap to Red Bull is slowly but surely starting to close up, and that’s across the entire field as well.
