Top 3 Highlights From The 2023 Brazilian Grand Prix

For the longest of times I always thought that Interlagos was a little overhyped in terms of a race track. I’m not sure why but it always felt “sterile” to me when you start comparing it to something like Mexico City or Azerbaijan. Needless to say 2023 is implanting the idea that Interlagos is one of the best race tracks on the current calendar. Without losing too much focus here, let’s dive into my top 3 highlights from the Brazilian Grand Prix!

Photo Finish

With Sergio Perez and Fernando Alonso swapping spots for the last few laps of the race it became clear that nothing was clean cut in terms of who was going to finish 3rd in the race and secure the final podium position. With Fernando Alonso leading Sergio Perez to the chequered flag on the main straight it became a drag race to see who who finish first. By a fraction of a second it was Fernando Alonso who secured the final podium position! Both drivers really put everything they had in those last few laps and boy was it exciting to watch!
