Minimalism has been a hot topic for a couple years now and while some portion of that has diminished over the most recent years, potentially thanks to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, there does seem to be a shift towards what many are referring to as “digital minimalism”. To summarize, our digital lives have become quite complicated over the last several years and so it’s time for many to consider consolidating their digital lives through organization and elimination techniques. So without further ado, let’s go over my 3 favorite apps I use to sustain my minimal lifestyle, even in the digital aspect of my life.

Google Drive

Google Drive has made quite the progress over the last several years as it has continued to refine its interface and overall user experience, but it has also become more robust with added support for additional formats and file types, it’s now a true contender when it comes to file organization and previewing, and I highly suspect that as more and more people seek the cloud as a solution service, it will only get better. I primarily use Google Drive to organize my school documents but I also to keep track of other types of information, such as large purchase receipts (car) or perhaps my own tax documents every year.
