The Single Reason I Haven’t Bought Wireless Earbuds

We’re very much so in 2022, with tech billionaires taking trips into space in their free time and smartphones outperforming desktop computers it surely is quite the time to be alive. Yet here I am, in 2022, still not using wireless earbuds. Strange? Yes. Accompanied by a valid reason? Yes, and here’s why!

Time

Time for me is likely the most important thing to me on a daily basis. Now before you get upset that I didn’t claim something like my “family or friends” as the most important, hear me out. I put a lot of effort (or lack thereof) into only working 40 hours a week (42 if you’re counting my short commute as well). The reason this is so important to me is because I would much rather spend my time doing other things like spending time with “family and friends”. I extend this time factor into almost everything that I do or do not do. I don’t spend money needlessly if the value isn’t there since it all boils down to me having to work more hours in order to afford those certain things (Even though I’m salaried the math still holds true). I optimize large portions of my life to enjoy life more, whether that’s by digitizing as much of my life as possible or by driving my “beater car” in order to save money on gas, optimization might not sound super romantic to a lot of people but to me it’s one of the most important things to a…
