The Problem With Open World Video Games In 2022
Halo, Killzone, Uncharted, God of War, Star Wars, Metal Gear Solid, and even Gears of War have all been shifting their incredibly linear video game design towards an open world concept over the last couple of years. While this may seem cool to a certain extend, I want to talk about why this may actually prove to be a problem as the years go by.
