Cars have finally gotten interesting over the last couple of years. Thanks to new ideas coming from companies like Tesla (EV) and Ford (Bronco) and of course other shake ups coming from organizations like Rivian or even USPS with their new energy efficient fleet of vehicles. In a more traditional sense, there has never been a better time to buy a new car simply because of the crazy amounts of competition going on in every single market. But thanks to ongoing supply chain issues, prices are still sky high, with no concrete end in sight, but that’s for another article. So, without giving too much away, let’s talk about the best smartphone features that are coming to your car!

Yearly Refresh

It’s become so synonymous with smartphones these days that what you buy brand new today, will be out classed within 6 months. While this is kind of bad from an environmental perspective when you start to realize that everyone is buying a new phone almost every year, it’s good from the consumer perspective since it means the competition is stiff and there will always be new and improved products coming out that not only iterate on the time-tested parts of technology but actually push the boundaries when it comes to what we thought was possible. This is becoming a reality with car manufacturers as well. Look at Tesla’s model lineup. They don’t really hype up a big new product refresh like conventional car brands do. Instead, they are constantly making improvements to their vehicles each and every year. Sure, they still might have a big flashy presentation to get their advertising team something to do (even though Tesla can’t keep up with demand) but they aren’t marketing it as a major refresh, instead it just becomes the 2022 model year, or the 2023 model. Get ready for continuous improvement to really hit new strides in car manufacturing. New features, new technology better mileage or range, the future is looking bright with cars constantly getting new updates worth our time and attention!

OTA Updates

Over-The-Air Updates are one of the most important pieces of technology that is entering into our lives. As I mentioned before how there will likely be yearly refreshes to our cars from a hardware standpoint, we’re also going to be getting yearly, monthly…
