I love learning things, but that doesn’t mean I don’t struggle at times. Here are the 4Android Apps that helped me survive my Master’s and are helping me remain sane during my Doctoral studies.

Google Keep

This is my best kept secret for not just my academic life but also my professional and personal life as well. Google Keep is a note taking application that basically acts like a bunch of sticky notes. The application really isn’t that powerful, so if you’re looking for a lot of customization and features, this isn’t the application for you. However, if you’re looking for something incredibly easy to use and something that can help you take notes very rapidly, I recommend no other app. I build out to-do list within this app, I type in quick comments when I need to remember something and I use it to organize my research for school. This app hasn’t changed much over the last couple years yet I still absolutely love it.

Gmail

Outlook is a great alternative if you’re in the Microsoft ecosystem of applications. However Gmail has to be the most mobile and powerful E-Mail system out there. You don’t have to worry about syncing across devices when you can simply load up the web application and have all your E-Mails in one spot with easy access. Mix in the powerful…
