My Top Three Considerations When Buying A New Phone
It’s coming to that time again where I’ll be looking for a new phone within the next year or so. This is coming from someone who tries really hard not to needlessly upgrade his devices each and every year like a lot of people tend to do more often than not. There are so many options available on the market these days that I wanted to go over the top three things that I look for in a potential phone. So let’s get started.
Price
I prefer to live a very frugal lifestyle, I hardly ever buy new things unless I actually need to and I spend most of my money on experiences rather than physical items. Which is why when it comes time to buy a new phone price is one of the most important factors I like to consider. I can’t quite fathom how people justify making four figure purchases for a smartphone. This is coming from someone who honestly labels himself as a professional phone user, I think I’m in the top 5% when it comes to people that actually use their phone as a tool. Between, work, school, blogging, YouTube, gaming, investing, navigation and of course standard personal communications, I use and abuse my phone regularly. Yet I still can’t stomach the idea of spending north of $1000 on a device that I rely on this much.
