I’ll be honest with you; I don’t study nearly as much as I should but I do have a lot of periods throughout any given day that I need to get a lot of homework done for my classes. When I’m in this very deep modes of work I like to set things up so that I could succeed with very little resistance. That’s why today, I decided to share with you my top 3 study tips that have helped me all way to a doctoral degree program!

Instrumental Music

Lo-Fi hip hop is of course a classic staple of anyone that wants to get a large amount of deep work done in isolation but I think you can go beyond Lo-Fi. Whether that’s classical symphonies by Dvorak or the Attack On Titan soundtrack, there are thousands, if not millions of songs out there for you to listen to while you’re diving head first into your homework/studies. Basically as long as you’re able to listen to the music in a way that keeps it in the background your brain will very likely be able to use that background noise as a tiny bit of fuel to keep you engaged with your current task. Even as I’m writing this article I’ve decided to listen to a song from Naruto Shippuden (Nankou Furaku — in case you were wondering). Use music not just as something you can enjoy but use it as a tool that can help keep you engaged through any task life throws at you!

The elements compose a magnum opus. My modus operandi is amalgam.
