My Pixel 6a Wishlist
The Pixel 6 and the 6 Pro have already left there mark on the Google Pixel line up as well as Android as a whole. Featuring Google’s first foray of custom designed silicon and the amazing Pixel experience we’ve all come to love. Some minor manufacturing defects and a clunky finger print reader may have left a bad taste in some users mouth it’s safe to say that overall, the Pixel 6 was a success for Google. So, what’s next? Assuming Google continues the trend of introducing a new model in their budget A series, we’ll soon be seeing the Pixel 6a, so here’s my short wish list for the device!
Headphone Jack
There are already rumors and leaked renderings that claim that the Pixel 6a won’t have the traditional headphone jack anymore, being the first Pixel within the A-Series to go without. While I certainly do want a headphone jack since I still regularly use one for my aging earphones, I can understand why Google is making a move away from the tried-and-true output method. With Google now it the wireless earbud market, it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to advice people to use a device that you can’t sell. I’ll still hope for the continuation of the headphone jack though!
