How The Smartphone Could Conquer Laptops
I often bring up to people how the smartphone is going to kill off a lot of things in the near future, they proceed to laugh as I mention wallets, routers, keys and even visits to the doctor’s office. But what the most tech savvy people tend to laugh at me the most for is when I say our smartphones will eventually overtake laptops (Or even computers in general). Now I know this sounds far off, or potentially even impossible but I’ll remind you that most people thought the same thing about smartphones replacing mp3 players or even cameras, yet here we are in 2022 and both of those markets are quickly getting taken up by smartphones. That being said, I do think there are several obstacles in the way before this happens and there will be several evolutionary steps such as an additional chassis and keyboard that runs off the smartphone, very similar to what Samsung offers in the Nex dock. In this article I want to discuss the obstacles smartphones will need to overcome in order to dominate yet another mobile device market! So, let’s check it out!
