How My Cost Of Living Is Going Down Every Year
Even with inflation running rampant
Bills aren’t fun, that’s just a fact of modern-day life. However, that being said, I find myself laughing at people who think they need literally millions of dollars to retire comfortably. Of course, this is heavily dependent on where you live but at the end of the day, I’m a strong believer in the fact that cost of living should be plummeting every single year given all the technology embedded in our lives in 2022. So, here’s how I keep lowering my cost of living each and every year.
Technology
I had to start here because I think this is one of the most important things when it comes to reducing your cost of living. The fact that our smartphones are becoming so packed with features is an indication as to how much value these smartphones bring in 2022 and beyond. I recently sold my studio microphone since my current smartphone is more than capable of recording decent enough audio, reducing my need for a standalone microphone, and that’s hardly the end of technology replacing things. Looking into the future I suspect my smartphone will replace my laptop, TV, wallet, key ring, doctors' visits, internet modem.
