How I Quadrupled My Medium Income
That’s right ladies and gentlemen, I just had my largest payout from Medium in March of 2022 and I’m stoked to continue writing over the next year and beyond in hopes of writing full time one day, or at least by using some of the funds to boost my stock portfolio. All that said, here are three ways I boosted my Medium income (At least I believe that’s what helped).
Consistency
I showed up every day to at least write one article on Medium, and when I didn’t publish at least one article a day I ensured myself that I at least wrote down an idea or two for my fingers to type away at the next day. I won’t pretend that I somehow understand how the Medium algorithm actually works but I do get the impression that if you’re actively writing on Medium, you’ll continue to get views, claps and comments. Try not to beat yourself up over quality, just start writing, and don’t ever stop!
Quantity Over Quality
Maybe this is an invite for internet trolls to point out all my grammatical errors but I stand by the idea that quantity often times outweights the importance of quality, especially in earlier stages of being a creative.
