Android 12L On A Pixel 3A

A lot of people talk about how they want long and meaningful support for their Android devices, yet when Google’s Pixel series do indeed receive support for several years hardly are the older models ever brought into the media lime light. So with this article I wanted to point out some things about life with a Pixel 3a featuring Android 12L, the positive, the negative and everything in between. So let’s get started!

Buttery Interface

I’ll admit, I do indeed get the feeling that a lot of this buttery feel I get when interacting with my 3 year old smartphone is actually just the placebo effect. While there have certainly been updates in the past that have improved the performance of devices, that doesn’t apply to every single update in Android update history, but I digress. The Pixel 3a indeed does feature a buttery interface that makes using the device a complete joy, there can be hiccups when interacting with applications that just require a bit more “oomph” things like video games or even the camera application are certainly not fast by 2022 standards. That being said, a lot of the daily task like navigating text messages, checking stocks, using Chrome or navigating YouTube have improved dramatically over the past couple of years and Android 12L was a nice quality of life update as well.
