4 Things Smartphones Will Soon Replace
Smartphones are getting better nearly every week. With fierce competition raging across the entire market we as consumers get to benefit from incredibly interesting and diverse feature sets. Mix in different types of hardware configurations and the growing trend of custom silicon we now have a recipe for super cool devices over the next few years. That being said, here are 3 things that your smartphone will soon be replacing entirely.
Car Keys
This one has already been developing over the last few years but it is sure to gain more and more traction with big pushes coming from companies like Apple and Google. Thanks to NFC and UWB technologies (and of course the OGs of wireless connectively Bluetooth and mobile data) we can use out smartphones for all sorts of new and exciting things. Not only are near field communications incredibly convenient but they also serve a useful function. I believe over the next couple of years we’ll start to see more and more people either unlocking their car remotely with their phones or perhaps just not having physical keys anymore and relying on near field connections to unlock your car as long as your phone is in your pocket! The future looks bright for phones ultimately controlling our vehicles!
