4 Reasons I’m Selling My PS5
I genuinely enjoyed the hell out of owning a PS5, I don’t think I have ever played so many games in such a short amount of time. However, after finishing 30 games in the span of a few months, I now have plans in motion to sell my PS5, here’s why.
Disc-Less
When I pre-ordered my PS5, I still had my vast video game library sitting on my bookshelf. Because of that, I ordered the PS5 with a disc drive. I’ve since sold that collection and have gone 100% digital, not only is digital simply more convenient for me since I don’t have a lot of space to store my games. But also don’t have to make unnecessary trips out to the store simply to buy a new game. Basically I can play any game I want, whenever I want, simply by downloading it to my system. The $100 mark up for the disc based PS5, doesn’t match my lifestyle anymore. While I will lose the ability to play other disc in the future such as blu-rays, I believe that’s a small price to pay considering the $100 savings. Besides, we all stream videos now days anyways.

Don’t get me wrong, I think a lot of the scalping that took place very early on in the PS5’s life span was a major issue, and I’m sure it still is depending where you are in the world. However, considering that the PS5 is still relatively rare, at least in comparison to other video game consoles…
