Quitting your job is far from the easiest thing to do. Not only is change scary but so is the actual interaction with your boss or HR manager about your resignation. No matter how you look at, quitting your job is hard, so here’s what I did to make it as easy as possible.

I Built Substantial Savings

I paid off my car a few months prior to the global pandemic. That being said, once the pandemic had started and my travel plans had been postponed (And still are) I’ve been able to save the majority of my income. Meaning, since the pandemic really ramped up in March of 2020, I’ve been able to save over two times my annual salary. That may not make a lot of sense, but when your cost of living is extremely low and you’re able to invest and make a little bit of side income it’s a very possible thing to do. So with that said I have a large amount of savings that can support my fairly low maintenance lifestyle for several years if I really had to and on top of that if worst came to worst I still have my 401k sitting ideally by just in case something tragic were to happen. So if you’re thinking about quitting your job start saving money as of yesterday, it will make the stress of changing jobs a lot less stressful.

I Have Various Other Projects
