Pick organizations or companies that you see as having a presence in renewable energy, whether that’s with Tesla producing solar systems and batteries (Obviously their electric cars as well) or perhaps Apple, who doesn’t quite produce a consumer product focused on green technology, but the majority of their operations are supported by green technology and they have made an investment in the future of renewable energy as well. If you’re not incredibly interested in picking single stocks look for a green energy fund such as ICLN or ESGV. Both feature green technology and overall environmentally conscious companies. Do a little research and you could start to see your investments in green technology start to actually make you money!
