3 Things I Learned From Halo
Oddly enough, my first experience playing Halo was all the way back on the original Xbox, little did I know this spacefaring adventure was going to become one of the biggest video game franchises ever. Not only did Halo redefine First-Person Shooters at the time of its release but it also redefined video games in general. Gone were the days of jumping on blocks or running through golden rings, now we’re going to have an entire cinematic blockbuster packed into the gaming experience. Halo has done a lot for the video game industry but what it has also done is develop people, I for one learned a lot playing Halo throughout the ages. So without me rambling on any longer let me explain exactly how Halo did that!
Finish What You Started
I used to have a bad habit of starting things and never quite finishing them, while I face this issue every once and awhile today I believe Halo helped me combat this. I remember the ending in Halo 2 where Master Chief mentioned going back to the fight in order to end the ongoing war (Which was a major tease for the eventual Halo 3 but I digress). There was something about the commitment that Master Chief made to not only his duty as a solider but also his duty as a honorable warrior.
