3 Takeaways From The 2022 Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix
After what felt like an entirely additional summer break from Formula 1, we’re officially back in action with the Singapore Grand Prix! Not only is this one of the most brutal street circuits on the race calendar but it’s also a circuit that hasn’t been on the calendar since 2019. Offering some scenic racing underneath the night’s sky, Singapore is surely one of the most memorable tracks, and certainly this was one of the more memorable events as well! So, let’s check out my 3 takeaways from the 2022 Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix.
The Art of Racing In The Rain
Admittedly, I’ve never actually seen this movie, but I heard that it’s exceptionally, mediocre, moving on. The Singapore Grand Prix nearly became one of the wettest races in history thanks to what can only be described as a torrential downpour hitting the circuit with very little sign of letting up! Eventually, after a delay of 65 minutes, the race got underway, and boy was it chaotic! That being said, considering all of the chaos that happened on track, I can’t help but think that this was kind of an uneventful race, or at the very least a rather forgettable one.
World Class Battles
Hamilton following Verstappen following Vettel. That’s some high level bits of racing in my book…
