Hamilton Gets Top Gun Role
I tried to be pretty creative with that headline but if you watched the race you’ll know quite well what I’m referring to. Shortly after starting the race Lewis Hamilton and long time rival Fernando Alonso made contact into a corner where causing Lewis Hamilton to get airborne by potentially 8–10 ft in the air. As Lewis Hamilton came back down to earth with the rest of us peasants things seemed as though he might be able to escape that first lap incident without much drama, things quickly turned awry for Hamilton’s Mercedes.
