3 Takeaways From The 2022 Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix
Round 3 of the 2022 Formula 1 World Championship is officially behind us and boy was this one for the books! While some may be a little disappointed by the lack of overtaking on the course itself, I would say as a whole the Australian Grand Prix was a success. That being said, here are three takeaways from the entire weekend!
ALBONOOOOOO
Williams Racing has had a brutal start to the year, that’s without a doubt. On top of having a poorly performing car they also have a certain driver that tends to crash out in what seems to be every weekend, for the sake of the article I won’t mention his name but more importantly Alex Albon has gotten William’s Racing into the points! After an incredible stint where he literally didn’t change tires for the whole race, Alex Albon was able to secure a P10 finish, ensuring that his team is at the very least, on the scoreboard. Well done Alex!
The Redbull Power Unit Woes
Another race, and another Redbull powertrain powered car closes out the grand prix weekend with a clearly printed DNF. That’s right, after the woes that we saw with Max Verstappen, Sergio Perez and Pierre Gasley in Bahrain, followed by Yuki Tsunoda in Saudi Arabia, in Australia Max’s Redbull came to a halt due to fluid leaking all over the place…
