3 Features That A Future Smartwatch Needs In Order For Me To Buy It

With the Pixel Watch supposedly right around the corner and my Pixel 3a set to lose updates here pretty soon (I intend on purchasing the Pixel 6a or 7) I thought it would be important for me to discuss the things that a smartwatch would really need to deliver in order for me to purchase one. I’ve long been a critique of smartwatches as I’ve always believed that smartphones are already capable of the majority of things smartwatches are doing, on top of that reason I just really don’t want to have something extra to charge. So let’s see what I demand of a smartwatch in 2022!

All The Health Metrics

One of the best offerings that smartwatches have done when compared to smartphones is their ability to constantly monitor and collect telemetry data. When we’re talking about the heart beats of a person or their respiratory rate, smartwatches already offer some interesting health metrics. That being said I think I would really need a lot more from a future Pixel Watch if I were to pull the trigger. For starters I think one thing that we will continue to see grow onto the scene over the next couple of years is non invasive glucose monitoring considering the ever rising cases of diabetes and the desire to not only manage those with diabetes already but also to prevent it where possible, I think there…
