3 Features Future Cars Won’t Have Anymore
With electric vehicles continuing to take the world by storm, I predict that we’ll start to see our automobiles become progressively simpler over time. While that may sound alarming to some, it also makes things interesting for another group of people, admittedly, like myself. With simplified transportation methods we should see greater efficiency and improved durability. So with that said, let’s talk about what features that we’re currently used to in cars, start to disappear over the next couple of years!
Brakes
No, I’m not a homicidal maniac, but I do believe that we’re headed towards a future where not only will your every day commuter car no longer have brakes (Disc or drum) but will instead rely on regenerative braking and potentially some sort of active aerodynamics to slow the car in a safe yet efficient way. While this may sound strange to people, we should all take a moment and remember that our cars didn’t always have four brakes installed on them. Originally the cars were so slow that two brakes in the front did all the work, only after cars increased in speed did, we start to consider the need for an additional pairing in the back. That being said, with vehicles now being outfitted with electrical motors it doesn’t take much to use those motors to slow down a car. Couple this with some simplified air brake to increase the air…
