3 Changes Medium Needs In 2022

I’m not some sort of Medium guru or anything, but I can tell you that I’ve written quite a few articles, made a few bucks and have overall, enjoyed my time on Medium over the last year. All that said, as we enter in 2022 I can see a few areas that could be improved across the board with the platform. So here are the 3 changes I want to see from Medium in 2022.

Performance

For the most part, the performance of this website really isn’t bad by any stretch of the imagination, however, there do seem to be some strange things going on behind the scenes. Not only have I had issues with Unsplash being unavailable for entire days sometimes, but I also have to manually refresh my notifications otherwise I’ll never know they were there to begin with. So yes, I’m nitpicking here, but considering the fact that I use this platform quite extensively throughout each and every day (usually) I can’t help but want to see some considerable performance upgrades over the next year or so!

Searchable Stories

If this exist, I would be beyond overjoyed to scrap this entire article just to learn this ability. As it stands currently, I can’t seem to search my drafts or my published stories. This may not be an issue when you’ve only really got five articles under your belt, but when you’ve hit a brick wall in terms of…
