3 Benefits Of Switching Your Office To Laptops
I expect quite a bit of push back on this one since there are many people that really like their desktop setups, and that’s ok, because this is basically just an opinion piece. All that said, I want to talk about the benefits of switching your office (Home or office) computing setup towards laptops, so let’s check it out!
Simple Charging
One of the most annoying things about technology over the past two decades has without a doubt been charging. Not only did we have different ports such as USB Mini, Micro and now C (Don’t even get me started on barrel plugs)P but we also had numerous different profiles within those different hardware sets. Different data capabilities, different power deliver specifications. It was all quite a mess, and while things have gotten substantially better I think there’s room for improvement. This is one of the primary benefits of laptops, most professional systems allow you to charge via USB C. Which can be easily used on your smartphone or tablet (though lightning ports still exist). Charging is a headache so by switching to laptops that all charge via USB C we could at least see part of that headache start to diminish over time.
